Modify the response from backend using WSO2 Script mediator.

The WSO2 Script Mediator is used to invoke the functions of a variety of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Groovy, or Ruby.

In this use case we are going to modify the response coming from backend using a script mediator using inline javascript.

SimpleStockQuote Service should be up and running.

We want to construct the response as above, represent <name> and <open> elements only. We can use a javascript script using WSO2 script mediator in order to construct above.

Create the following sequence and add to the proxy.

Invoke the following proxy with the below payload using a SOAP client like SOAP UI.

The response will be as below after the response is enriched.

This is supported in all the EI and ESB versions
