Innosilicon A9 Horizen Setup Guide

Horizen is a platform designed for private communications and private economic activity. Cutting-edge cryptography and zero knowledge proofs enable fully anonymous peer to peer communications with Horizen. Horizen’s distributed and encrypted networking design is resistant, to traffic correlation and metadata analysis. That is why we set up Luxor’s first Horizen mining pool!

Horizen is the latest addition to our services as a pool operator. We are pleased to continue to provide our miners with more options and to support the Horizen community. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Luxor, we are a altcoin pool built for high quality cryptocurrencies. We originally started with Sia and Decred and recently joined the BTC, Pirate, Komodo, Sia Prime LBRY, Monero, Aion and Zcash communities.

To get started, navigate to your dashboard by finding your miners’ IP address using your router or scanner. Your page will look something like this:

You should see the option to mine with a number of different pools. We’re going to set it up with Luxor’s Horizen Mining Pool, the best mining pool — disclaimer: we’re slightly biased :)

Type in the pool setting as follows:

URL: zen.luxor.tech:700(set to your nearest location)

Worker: LuxorUsername.Workername (username can be anything, but avoid using symbols or special characters as it may be an invalid username)

Password: 123

Once you’ve started hashing, grab yourself a beer! It’ll take about 5 minutes for your worker to appear on our stats page. To find your user, simply login and head to the workers page. You should see something like this:
