Why is Nextjs so fast as compere to Reactjs?

I'll tell you why nextjs is so fast.

In the previous article, I mentioned 2839 packages required to run reactjs basic hello world app. when you install new packages in react.js, all dependencies increase.

The article is based on create-next-app . If you check the dependencies list in your project for that, you reach my reactjs base article.

My question is, how many dependencies need to run the hello-world nextjs app?

You are also surprised when you know the answer because nextjs have a great team that spends tons of time building nextjs.

The nextjs only need 394 packages to run the nextjs hello world app, and other hand, reactjs need 2839 packages to run the hello world app. we compare both libraries, in nextjs uses less than 2445 packages.

The answer is the babel. nextjs currently does not use babel and webpack. When you compare the nextjs and reactjs dependencies trees. You figure out the reactjs use lots of babel and babel-based tools.
