Hello, world! This is Charles Cheng’s first “story” on Medium.
This space is for you, my friend, and I to grow together — if you are also interested in solving real-world problems with innovative ideas. You will learn more about me through my future “stories” and you might even make an actual impact on my life decisions.
“How?” you asked.
Allow me to introduce myself briefly before answer that. I am Charles Cheng, now 24, a Taiwanese located in Hong Kong. I got my degree from the University of Hong Kong and spent 2 years as the operations manager of a small wealth management company before I started to work full-time on my InsurTech project, InsurGo in January 2019. I am growing myself into a business designer who solves real-world problems with innovative ideas that are sustainable.
Back to the topic. You are NOT going to find educational articles with well-organised paragraphs which aims to promote certain ideas here. Instead, you will find stories featuring real-life scenarios and authentic feelings which welcomes your comments. They are going to be like pages in a diary or short reflection essays. I will focus on practical issues. For example, a moment I realised that I should pick up a certain skill to have better communication with software engineers. There will be at least one story a week to keep track of what inspired me, my thoughts, and my responses.
