Fedora H.264 x264 video playing or mp3 music playing without adding rpmfusion repository
Some Fedora versions (i.e. F28 F29 F30) cannot play some videos or music because their encoding is not supported. Most tutorials request to add rpmfusion to the repositories of your machine. Some of us do not like to have rpmfusion repos in our system (see reasons). Installing this sole package so you can play many videos or audios in popular formats:
