Why the right and the left should meet in the center.

For centuries politicians have bashed each others views for the benefit of their own political agendas. Today that bashing is moving into pure stupidity on both sides and here is why.

Have you ever seen a brother and sister fighting? I am sure we all understand what it looks like whether you have siblings or not, we have all seen the fights siblings get into. What do the parents do when they see siblings fighting? They try their best to calm tensions between the two and bring the family back to peace. At least that is what my parents did whenever my siblings and I would get into fights. What does America do when our citizens are ready to come to blows with each other? We throw gas on a well lit fire! We all seen the 2016 election and I hope we all can agree there was stupidity on both sides and yet we are too prideful to come together as one and resolve some issues.

No matter what side your on they both will tell you the same story just the version that suits their agendas better. Where are the parents of our United States? Someone needs to step in and tell Johnny to quit pulling Sally's hair and tell Sally to quit making fun of Johnny. No side in this fight is the correct side to be fighting for. The left and the right are siblings of each other they came from the same fabric. What fabric is that you may ask? The fabric is an invisible fabric of love, care and compassion for one another. This same fabric is the reason that when tragedy strikes we come together as a family and help each other. That is until the politicians want to push their own agendas on us then we are at blows over a tragedy because we don’t believe in the others agenda. I believe in bringing our countries people together again Black, White, Latino none of it should matter. Why should we say, “your skin color is different so I am going to look at you a certain way.” I only believe in one color of people in this country and that is the color of our fabric, red, white and blue. We as a people have power when we come together but when we are divided who do you think has the power then? If you said the politicians then you are absolutely correct because if we are at blows that gives the politicians the right to step in and say, “okay, we have done it your way and it did not work now I am going to send both sides to their room and let competent run the country.” We all know that no politician is competent because power can grab a hold of anyone. If we met in the center and worked things out ourselves, politicians would be almost powerless they would then turn into glorified paper pushers. Lets agree to disagree on the little things and go fight and vote for the big things. Lets meet in the center.
